It’s source lies in depression in which the individual is convinced that they are being “done unto”. The individual is usually looking for a fight, a confrontation in order to find support for their pain. They are convinced that whatever position they take, it is the right one and that everyone else is wrong. When this condition is allowed to progress it can go way beyond angry accusation and end up in court as some type of lawsuit. The individual is bitter and stubborn, unwilling to try to work out the issue at hand. Moving to confrontation, the person is using the issue to release their pent up emotions and they are not even aware of how unreasonable they are being. Their object is to be disruptive and to do whatever they can to cause confusion and disharmony in the life of someone else. Even if they accomplish this, they are seldom satisfied and like the “dog chewing on the bone” will not let their anger abate. They are blind to what long-range negative effects might arise from such a confrontation. The person with this star in their chart needs to learn how to expand their view of the issues, realizing that there is more than one way to look at an experience. They need to attempt to understand how others feel and consider how they might feel under similar circumstances if they were in those other person’s shoes. Putting the issue under a microscope is only going to make things worse because the focus will magnify all the peripheral issues and then combine those with the central theme making the upset larger than it already is. The primary need is to put out the fire. Physically removing one’s self from the situation is an effective method of doing this. However, they need to understand that they are not running away or that they have “lost” the battle. As in so many instances the need is to realize that time and distance will allow all disruptive conditions to settle and in settling they will tend to begin to resolve themselves. Time may not heal all things (as the saying goes) but it surely opens a number of doors by which it will be possible to find a solution. This is a case where changes of almost any kind can be of help. Change your physical location; change your clothes; change your food; change the sheets on your bed; change the people you have been talking to; change your reading material; change what you watch on TV. The need is to change your habits in small ways so that the issue that has been built into a monster no longer takes up all the creative space in your life. Increase liquid intake (no alcohol please). Eat more fresh fruit. Get out into fresh air and breathe while thinking you are taking in manna from heaven. If it’s daylight, find a shaft of sunlight, stand in it and start chewing on it as if it were a favorite food. In any case do those things that expand you physically, mentally and spiritually. And take a long, hot bath or shower, realizing all the while, that the water is renewing you.
